Cloud Google Migrator 1.5.5.0 Now Released

Version 1.5.5.0 of the Cloud Google Migrator is now available from our download pages. This release brings many enhancements to the tool, especially from a UI and usability perspective.

The full list of changes includes:

New Features

  • Added statistical information on the ‘Progress’ tab
  • Added icons to represent migration progress
  • Improved GroupWise diagnostics in the connection tester
  • Added menu item to re-register GroupWise DLLs
  • Renamed ‘Alternate Message Export’ to ‘Message Export Method’
  • Ability to choose from one of three alternate ‘Message Export Method’ options for GroupWise (default is ‘Enhanced’ which is the most robust in most situations)
  • Added a new message export method ‘Fallback’, to be used if all others fail for GroupWise
  • Changed user import/export statistics to links to make the ability to click more obvious. Click the numbers next to the user status on the ‘Progress’ tab for information about individual messages
  • Users are now added manually via an ‘Add User’ context menu item. Right click in the grid on the ‘Users’ tab.
  • List of recent configuration files can be accessed in the file menu
  • GroupWise is now the default migration platform
  • Renamed ‘Use Sync Event’ to ‘Prevent Appointment Fanout’ in migration options
  • Other minor UI tweaks

Fixes

  • Fixed a selection bug in the user configuration list
  • Included an updated build of the Google client libraries to enable migrations on non-English number format systems again
