It’s sometimes said that Google apps are intuitive to use so there’s no need for training. This may be true for the main basic features; it wouldn’t take anyone long to figure out how to send an email for example, but there are many benefits that aren’t immediately apparent and Google don’t provide simple menu options for everything you can do.
As an example; you wouldn’t instinctively know that you can perform real-time language translation in chat unless someone showed you. (you need to invite bots to your chat in the form of en2fr@bot.talk.google.com by the way).
Our training will uncover these hidden features and show you many more benefits of cloud computing.
Even though I’ve used gmail for about 7 years I learned loads of new stuff, and the docs and calendar bits were particularly useful. – Media industry customer
When you first “go Google” we recommend our Introductory Training which is divided into two sessions, the first covering Messaging: (Mail, Calendar, Chat, Contacts & Tasks) and the second covering Collaboration: (Docs, Sites, Groups, Video). These sessions give a good grounding to the Google Apps suite of products and are a very effective transition from legacy platforms like Outlook, Groupwise and Office.
Great tips that even after using gmail at home i managed to pick up extra things. – Public sector customer
