We have provisioned and migrated tens of thousands of users from legacy platforms, taking people from systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and Novell Groupwise over to Google Apps. We have designed our own migration tools and pass on the benefits of little or no user interaction during the migration and we can migrate your calendars and contacts as well as your mail. Our own developed tools are ’server side’ and perform migrations with great accuracy and speed, typically 3 to 4 times quicker than anything else out there. Imagine how much services money you will save compared to other companies!

Assessment of existing infrastructure

We can conduct an on site survey to ascertain what your existing infrastructure looks like, what could be switched off, what can’t be switched off and ascertain the need for any other products or service prior to making a decision to explore migrating your environment to Google. Of course the duration would depend on the nature and complexity of your existing infrastructure but should only take between one and three days. The costs for this service starts at £750.

Pilot Migrations

Before you move your whole organisation to Google Apps, you may wish to run a pilot with a selection of users. Below we have offered three of the most common types of pilot. ITAssist Pilot

This is where the IT Department has decided to conduct a trial themselves prior to enterprise rollout. We offer our experience and expertise to augment their efforts and provide expert fall back support. We will start you off by setting up your domain, enabling your email for dual delivery i.e. simultaneously receiving mail to your legacy system as well as the Google pilot users. We will allow access to the users on your pilot to our end user training videos on our site. We will, if required enable our cloud based SSO offering, myonelogin. Finally we will assign a remote, part time project manager to liase with IT. We offer this service for 30 days and there is no charge!

And the catch is…there is no catch. Some organisations are more than happy to take on the decision to migrate. Our involvement here is minimal in that we offer just the right amount of support based on our experience to help get the job done. Its also an opportunity for us to earn the right to be a partner supplier going forward and for the long term. In any event there might be a requirement for additional services that are outside the scope of ITAssist and we can offer additional services such as the ones listed above or specific days/tasks as required.

Typical Durations for Deployment Tasks

Starter Pilot

Once you have an understanding of the massive potential savings you can make by switching to Google Premier Apps and have an understanding of the Apps core components then you may wish to explore a small pilot such as this or move straight to Enterprise Readiness. This package will migrate up to 10 of your users to a Google or dual environment thus giving you an idea of the impact of an enterprise rollout. We offer this service for 30 days and the charge is £5,000.

Enterprise Readiness Pilot

This pilot covers all of the functionality that one is likely to experience and cater for in an Enterprise environment and the number of pilot users increases to 50. we offer this service for 60 days and the charge is £10,000.
