In response to the current climate, 74% of companies are planning to permanently shift some of their previously on-site workforces to permanently remote positions after the lockdown period is over . This reflects some of the key learnings that leading companies are taking, with some looking to manage costs more efficiently, and others looking to offer greater flexibility to their teams.
However, this is just one part of the 'return to the office' plan that organisations are considering. On this session, Greg Cope, Technical Director of Enterprise Services & Security at the Financial Times, will be joining Tom Ray, Managing Director at CTS to discuss the effect lockdown has had in the media industry and their view for the future.
Greg will be sharing his key takeaways on how FT have evolved and adapted to overcome the challenges this period has presented, from a technical and cultural perspective. They'll also be talking about the role technology has played for them, and what the landscape may look like for the media industry moving forward.
