“This is because Google’s data centre technology is built to run 24x7x365 days a year. If there is a problem then it will be up to Google Engineers across the globe to resolve the issues. However, Google probably have the biggest data centre infrastructure in the world and they offer a 99.9% SLA, which is actually working at 99.984% for their email service. We never have to think about the reliability and scalability of our email service for our users anymore. As well as the reliability and scalability you also get built in anti-virus, anti-spam and content filtering with the solution.”
G Suite is more than email though and Majestic are looking to utilise the other applications that come as part of the suite. “We will be able to exploit Google Drive and all the office productivity tools for their real-time collaborations capabilities across the organisation.” said Jim.
“We are also currently in the process of deploying Chromebooks across our retail stores and this should help with the store-to-store collaboration and the sharing of key information. The Chromebooks are also highly secure as they do not store any information locally on the device and that gives us great peace of mind when deploying a new desktop technology.”
